A good friend once said to me, “When you are thinking of your future plans, think about a party going on somewhere without you there. If your name comes up in conversation, what would you want people to say about you?” December is right around the corner. That means it is time to look back at 2006 and start planning for next year. Time to give a passing or failing grade to all the strategies we tried during the year and to brainstorm some cool new ideas for 2007. Time to look at the next three to five years and see what kind of company we want to become. How we want to be thought of by our clients, our partners, and our competition. Time to think once again of how I want everyone to think about my company, and myself.
