From 1989 to 1994, Barry Gibbons was CEO of Burger King.  He took the company to unprecedented growth and profitability; then he quit, largely because he prefers to build companies, not simply maintain them.  Also, because he considered corporate America in need of serious retooling.  He published his thoughts in the book, “If You Want to Make God Really Laugh, Show Him Your Business Plan.”  The book contains what Gibbons considers to be the 101 Universal Laws of Business.
