I recently contacted the electric company to pay a bill by phone. Here is the conversation. Mind you, this is me trying to give a company money. For ease of reading, the plain text is me on the phone, the italics are the various reps I spoke to at the electric company. I should mention that the live person came on only after I pushed a series of about thirty seven buttons to make my selection of services.
