The server approached my table to take my order.  I asked if I could order breakfast and she said, “We usually serve breakfast, but it’s after ten o’clock so we’re on the lunch menu now.”  I called to see if I could get my car’s Check Engine light looked at before I left town with the car.  The auto shop owner said, “We can probably take a look at it, but we’re pretty backed up right now.”  I called for an appointment with my doctor and the receptionist said, “I can check her schedule, but she doesn’t come in on Thursdays.”
