Jason Bindas
Jason has been with Stevie Ray’s since 1998 as a performer, teacher, and director. A student of several schools of improv, he co-directs the Stevie Ray's Comedy Troupe and is Director of the School of Improv.

Maureen Tubbs

Prom queen, honor student, all-state track star... they all went to high school with Maureen.  Maureen’s theater experience started at age 8.  Despite the early disappointment not landing the lead role in her third grade class's production of Annie, she continued with theater through high school.  During college, she got close to theater by acting like she was studying on the lawn of E.C. Mabie in Iowa City, Iowa.  Maureen joined Stevie Ray’s Improv Company in 2005 and since has performed at the Twin Cities Improv Festival, Improv a-Go-Go, Mixed Blood Theater in addition to corporate entertainment. While not pursuing a rewarding and lucrative life on stage, she enjoys being the marketing director for Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, and most likely will ask you to subscribe.

Tim Dybevik

Tim’s stage career began down in Rochester, MN during the mid-1990’s performing with the Rochester Radio Theatre Guild.  After a few years in the U.S. Peace Corps, (no joke) he came home to the Twin Cities and tried his hand at stand-up comedy but realized he missed performing with a troupe. Improv was definitely the way to go!  Stevie Ray’s is the perfect venue to release the many characters that come from Tim’s abnormal brain!

Adam Litz

Adam began performing improv comedy with the University of Rochester's In Between The Lines (2002 to 2004) and Geva Theatre's Geva Comedy Improv Troupe (2003 to 2006).  Adam joined Stevie Ray's in the Spring of 2008, after moving to Minnesota.  When he's not performing, he works as a Marketing Business Analyst, steals Mookie's biographical information and collects old comedy LPs.

Chris “Mookie” Harrington
Mookie's comedy education began in snowy Upstate New York.  He spent six years performing in Rochester with the University of Rochester's "In Between the Lines" (2000 to 2003), and Geva Theatre's "Geva Comedy Improv Troupe" (2003 to 2006).  Mookie joined Stevie Ray's in the fall of 2006 after getting married and moving to Minnesota.  His professional life varies between working as a Marketing Business Analyst and hosting, "Indeed Wrestling Weekly," a popular and internationally successful pro-wrestling podcast.

Wells Farnham

Wells was active in theater through high school and college, but a strange thing happened.  A voice told him to grow up and get a straight job.  (Stupid voices.)  A stranger thing happened when a new voice told him to try his hand at stand-up comedy, and he signed for Stevie Ray’s Stand-Up Comedy Class.  Then another voice suggested he sign up for Stevie Ray’s Improvisation Technique Level I.  From there, he went to Improvisation Technique Level II.  Upon completion, he promptly moved on to Performance Improv.  As a student in that class, he joined other students and troupe members (and their respective voices) performing in Stevie Ray’s Improv in the Park.  Then Wells got cast in Stevie Ray’s Comedy Troupe.  God only knows what the voices are saying now.  Hopefully it's all funny.

Michael Erickson - Music Director

Michael has been writing/directing and playing for theatrical productions for way too long.  After growing up in the Twin Cities, he got confused and headed to California to work for Disney and Nickelodeon, and also served as Artistic Director of the San Diego Junior Theatre.  In his other life, he worked for Fox Sports in Los Angeles and ended up working for two seasons as a baseball play-by-play announcer in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.  He hosted a daily radio talk show and a morning comedy show in Wisconsin, before moving to New York as a Director for the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in 2001.  He now lives in Edina where he mostly plays whiffle ball with his son, Quincy.

Brett Williams
The cast member most closely resembling Benicio Del Toro, Brett started training at Stevie Ray’s in October of 2000 and rose to troupe membership very quickly. His stage energy has been used to power small townships and the Xcel company is considering a franchise option.  Brett is also the creator and star of the hit trivia game show, "MatchWits with Brett Williams."

Samantha Baker

Samantha's performing career began in a garage when she was just seven years old, playing the prince in Cinderella, as her neighbor Joe was set on playing the lead.  The ten cents per ticket profits paid for Samantha's studies at Southern Illinois University where she learned the lucrative art of post modern theatre.  After moving to the Twin Cities in 2005, Samantha opened a new and even more lucrative door in performing, improv comedy, studying at the Brave New Institute.  Samantha spends her free time as a masked superhero, ridding the Twin Cities of tyranny and fake acts of "Minnesota Nice".  She joined Stevie Ray's in 2008 and never looked back, unless someone was following her.

Cristi Rumpza
Cristi is a 5'2 Leo who enjoys long walks on the beach....Oh wait, wrong ad...Awkward.  A member of Stevie Ray's since 2006, this Esthetician/Server/Corrections Officer/Comedian will keep you guessing.  Cristi has filled such gripping roles as, Paula Abdul for an American Idol spoof and Nurse Deb at Station 52 in a Mayo Clinic training video.  Come see Cristi at Stevie Ray's and learn all about shivs and how not to hold an invisible cigarette.  You might even get to meet her alter ego Barb!
Laura Mahler
Laura Mahler just returned to MN from a 7 year stint in Chicago, where she majored in Acting, studied at Improv Olympics and dabbled in Breakdancing. Laura spent the past few years touring a one-woman show about the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. When she is not spinning on her head, she is working for Stages Theatre Company, teaching Middle School Drama. She is currently working on her latest rap-parody music video: "Mary Pop-Lock-and Drop-Inz," and couldn't be more excited about joining the gang at Stevie Ray's!

Tom Reed

Tom began performing at a young age- in his living room dancing to Michael Jackson- and at age six writing and starring in “The Lone Ranger Meets Sleeping Beauty” a collaboration that resulted after Tom and the other first grader in theatre class couldn’t agree on one fictional world to bring to life for an audience of three.  Since then Tom has taken to the stage in musicals, competitive forensics, satirical storytelling, choir, slam poetry, a dash each of opera and stand up, and straight shows including a production of the Vagina Monologues (for real).  After graduating from college in 2004, Tom moved to Minneapolis and completed the Brave New Institute’s Performance Track.  He can be seen performing regularly at many improv shows in the area.

Kevin Pearson

Kevin moved to the Twin Cities 15 years ago from Milwaukee and never went back (he doesn't know that the Statute of Limitations has expired).  He started working with Stevie Ray's Improv Company in 1991, becoming one of our highest standing troupe members, performing at our cabaret as well as when the troupe was featured at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres from 1994-1995.  After an almost 10-year hiaitus he has come back to improv.  Kevin tried traditional theatre, but "It was too hard to memorize stuff."
