Signy Mastel

Signy — that’s Sig like cigarette, ny like knee! — started doing improv in high school at age 14, and never really stopped making things up. She spent two summers as a student improv teaching assistant at the Trollwood Performing Arts School, then continued her improv journey with her college troupe Sportz Team at UMN Morris, followed by The Whistling Shrimp at Cornell University. Upon finishing grad school, Signy moved to the Twin Cities, joined Stevie Ray’s improv classes a month later, and has been hooked ever since! When she is not on stage or at work, Signy is being bossed around by 16 pounds of fury (read: her dog, Winston) and trying to convince her apartment to decorate itself.
