Sue Tinklenberg

A 20-year member of Toastmasters (public speaking club), Sue’s bucket list included, “Take an improv class.” This was achieved in 2017, when she got a great deal on a silent auction for a class at Stevie Ray’s. With that first spark, she quickly pivoted toward an 8+ year improv adventure. Sue has watched improv in many places, such as Second City in Chicago and Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles and NYC.(Shouting suggestions is improvising, too, right?) When asked if she had any performance experience, Sue shared, “I performed for eight years in a special feature which could be called ‘Band Parent Volunteers,’ supporting the Eden Prairie High School band program.”

After many years in International Business roles, Sue now works as a Commercial Operations Specialist (translation: Excel nerd and contract administration doer).

When not stepping out of her comfort zone and onto a stage, Sue can be found snuggling with her cats while playing Scrabble on her iPad, watching MN Gopher sports, bowling, or thrifting. Her Halloween pumpkin creations are second to none.
