Anika Reitman

Anika is an improv performer and sketch comedy writer with years of experience in Los Angeles, now based in Minneapolis—where she has fully embraced her return to midwest life! She was a founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre LA sketch team Cornbread Kitchen, performing in The Black Twitter Show (2018–2020), a monthly comedy variety show. She has written and appeared in content for Dollar Shave Club’s online magazine, MEL, and her on-camera work includes E! Network, where she played a comedian on Catching Kelce, among others. In addition to performing in Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret, Anika currently writes and performs with sketch team Maxxeapolis, with appearances at Bryant Lake Bowl, the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and more. Anika is especially grateful to be performing at Chanhassen Dinner Theater, where she saw her very first musical in 1994—Phantom, the acclaimed Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit production. That experience sparked a lifelong obsession with performing that ultimately led her to comedy, making this moment a true full-circle return to the (basement) of the stage where it all began!
